Sabetha Mumm has been dancing, choreographing, and teaching her whole life. Her training includes 6 years at the Institute of Performing Arts in Topeka, KS, 5 years at the University of Iowa and a summer program on scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC. Her major performances include the World Jazz Dance Congress, the American College Dance Festival, and 14 University of Iowa galas and concerts. While in college she performed in works choreographed by: Mauricio Wainrot, Armando Duarte, Alan Sener, Linda Crist, Charles Moulton and Deb Bellue. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors as a dance major at the University of Iowa. She has been a “Fliteline” dancer for the Iowa Barnstormers, coached the Iowa Gymnastics Training Center’s exhibition team, and has assisted choreographers Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman and Gil Duldulao. In 2003 she opened Dance Vision, a studio in Johnston, IA, where she has since taught thousands of dancers and choreographed hundreds of dances. She currently lives in Ankeny, Iowa with her husband and their 2 children.
